De Watertoren Noord staat aan de Noorderbinnensingel. Deze is in 1908 gebouwd naar een ontwerp Carl Franke uit Bremen. Onlangs is deze verbouwd tot multifunctioneel centrum, 'De Bovenkamer van Groningen'.
